How to send email using telnet

At a command prompt, type telnet, and then press ENTER. This command opens the Telnet session.

Type set localecho and then press ENTER. This optional command lets you view the characters as you type them. This setting may be required for some SMTP servers.

Type set logfile . This optional command enables logging of the Telnet session to the specified log file. If you only specify a file name, the location of the log file is the current working directory. If you specify a path and a file name, the path must be local to the computer. Both the path and the file name that you specify must be entered in the Microsoft DOS 8.3 format. The path that you specify must already exist. If you specify a log file that doesn't exist, it will be created for you.

Type open mail.clientdomain.com 25 and then press ENTER.

Type EHLO computersupportforce.com and then press ENTER.

Type MAIL FROM:james@computersupportforce.com and then press ENTER.

Type RCPT TO:user@domain.com

Type DATA and then press ENTER. You will receive a response that resembles the following:

354 Start mail input; end with .
Type Subject: Test from Contoso and then press ENTER.

Press ENTER. RFC 2822 requires a blank line between the Subject: header field and the message body.

Type This is a test message and then press ENTER.

Press ENTER, type a period ( . ) and then press ENTER. You will receive a response that resembles the following:

a) LicencesView
i) cmd
ii) cd .. (twice) -> cd p (tab to Program Files) -> cd s (tab to Sybase) -> cd s (tab to SQL Anywhere) -> cd w (tab to win 32)
iii) dblic dbsrv9.exe
(1) If newer version of Sybase is installed, command is dblic dbsrv9.lic
b) Adding Additional Licences
i) Stop Medical service
(1) Sybase Central --OR--
(2) Open Sybase icon in toolbar and click exit --OR--
(3) cmd -> net stop asanys_medical (Note: net start will start database)
ii) cmd
iii) cd .. (twice) -> cd p (tab to Program Files) -> cd s (tab to Sybase) -> cd s (tab to SQL Anywhere) -> cd w (tab to win 32)
iv) dblic -l perseat -u # dbsrv9.exe “user” “company”
(1) #: grand total of licenses; ex: if already have 5 & are adding 5, #=10.
(2) If newer version of Sybase is installed, command changes from dbsrv9.exe to dbsrv9.lic
v) Restart Medical service

How to enable account track in Bizhub Copiers if Grayed out

In the printer driver control panel:
Click on configure tab
Click on Acquire Settings button
Remove the Tick from Auto
Click OK
On the Device Option list, scroll and highlight "Account Tracking".
Using drop list, change to Enable.
Apply.
OK.

Katelynn : In this case there won't be any CD/DVD drivers available for any notebook.
Katelynn : Normally some times due to the changes made in the Notebook causes the drivers of the CD/DVD drive to get corrupted an that causes these sporadic behaviour of the drive, removing the filters resolves the issue.

James Sheehan : ok
James Sheehan : I follow
James Sheehan : how do I remove the filters.
Katelynn : Sure, I will help you with the steps in this regard.
Katelynn : Please perform the below given steps.
Katelynn : Open device manager.

Katelynn : 1. Tap Window key(flag key on the keyboard) and R key on the keyboard, at once. You would see the Run window on the screen.

Katelynn : 2. Type devmgmt.msc and Click Ok.
James Sheehan : open
Katelynn : Click on the '+' sign near the CD/DVD drive and let me know the devices under it.
James Sheehan : hl-dt-st dvdram gsa-t50l ata device
Katelynn : Just to confirm is there now a yellow exclamation mark on the device.
James Sheehan : yes
Katelynn : Thank you for the confirmation.
Katelynn : Now, right click on CD/DVD drive you have and click on uninstall driver.
James Sheehan : k
James Sheehan : uninstalled
Katelynn : Alright.
Katelynn : 1. Now click Start , and enter "regedit " into the Start Search field. The registry editor window appears.
Katelynn : 2. Select Computer in the main window.

James Sheehan : k
Katelynn : 3.Click File , Export , type a filename that is easy for you to remember, and click Save . A copy of the registry has saved for back-up purposes to the Documents folder. If problems occur after using these steps, browse to the file and double-click it to restore the registry.

Katelynn : 7.Select the LowerFilters value and press the Delete key. Confirm the deletion by clicking Yes
Katelynn : 8.If an UpperFilters value is also listed, select UpperFilters in the right window and press the Delete key. Confirm the deletion by clicking Yes .

Katelynn : Delete either of the options you see.

James Sheehan : There was only lower and I deleted it..
Katelynn : That's good.

Katelynn : Open device manager again , Once just click on the computer option in the device manager first and then click on the Action menu on the top of the Device Manager window and select the option "Scan for hardware changes".
